Mars Rovers Keep Going and Going and Going…
What a successful mission for NASA as the Mars Rovers reached their 1 year anniversary on Mars this week. The Rovers were originally suppose to only live for 3 months but now will continue their missions indefinitely.
Yeah, it’s kind of nerdy to be on another planet and look at rocks but they’ve learned some interesting things. Most importantly finding signs of water.
Be sure to check out the top 10 color images from 2004. Looking at these images I’m thinking that some environmentalist will complain that we are scarring the environment of the Mars surface with vehicle tracks.
iTunes 4.5
Some of the interesting features are:
- iMix – A feature that lets you share your playlists, or “mixes” with the world. You can see Steve’s Jobs favorites. I wonder if he really did pick them.
- Print CD Covers – Which is a cool feature that lets you print album covers in a collage format for custom CDs.
- Import WMA files – This is Apple’s answer to those that complain that iTunes won’t play Windows Media Audio files. Basicly they won’t let you play WMA files but they will let you convert them to Apple’s format. A good way to lock people into iTunes.
You can also view music videos and movies trailers right from within iTunes. Looks like iTunes is becoming more of a media player then just a MP3 playing application.
