Yet one more Superbowl related movie trailer, the rebooted Start Trek movie to be released this summer. Be sure to check out the HD version on YouTube.
Oh dear god no! Thanks to the Pilgrim’s Pride bankruptcy, there could be a chicken wing shortage for the Superbowl.
The combination has made prices soar, suppliers say.
“Forty pounds (of wings) would be like $85,” Sam Musolino, owner of Sammy’s Pizzeria in nearby Niagara Falls, N.Y., tells WIVB-TV, Buffalo.
He used to pay only half that amount, he says.
Wing Stop says it’s the busiest day of the year for them. I planned to have wings for my Superbowl party but I will get them from Wing Basket. I better get my order in tomorrow!
I can’t let this day go by without mentioning that January 24th is the 25th anniversary of the Macintosh computer. If you keep up with any Apple news you would have known this weeks ago.
Macworld magazine has several articles to read on the anniversary. However I recommend you watch the “Steve Jobs showcases Macintosh” video on YouTube, which is the first introduction of the Macintosh in 1984.
This is turning out to be a historic year. My hometown team, the Arizona Cardinals, are going to Superbowl 43. What makes it historic is that this is this is the first NFC championship for the team. Ever.
Had they won one year earlier, they could have played in the Superbowl in Arizona.
In 1988 they moved to Arizona and played in Sun Devil Stadium. I recall going to at least one of those games. They have played poorly for a long time, it’s good to see them finally win.

Is my math right, because I want to be accurate here. 150 divided by 90,7000,000 is 6 decimal places, right? 150 is the number of complaints the FCC got about the last Superbowl. 90.7 Million is the number of viewers of the Superbowl.
Not only do these people complain to the FCC about the phallic guitar that Prince was playing, they complain to the FCC about the commentators. Then they threaten not to watch. Don’t threaten it already, just stop watching.
I’m sure the FCC will issue fines due to the overwhelming complaints.
