Contacts
February 16th, 2005
After a little under 2 years of wearing glasses, I’ve had enough. It’s harder than heck to wear them under my ski goggles, they fall off my face and they are dirty most of the time.
So I’m trying out contacts. I’m wearing my “test” pair for the second day. It’s quite a interesting concept having little pieces of plastic sticking to ones eyes. Getting them in and out has been an adventure too. Hopefully within a week I will have it all down. Hey, in the future my contacts will be made in space

I made the jump years ago, but then went back to glasses. Contacts are wonderful, but at the time I used them, they required oodles of care and lots of chemical treatments to keep them useful and sanitary. I understand that with today’s disposable lenses that’s no longer true. Did you get disposables?
